HOSTIMOR | WISECP THEME

Licence and compatibility

Information about usage rights, the domain and the files you can edit.

Scope of use

The minimum and tested WISECP version for 1.4.0, 1.3.17 and 1.3.16 is 5.0-beta.3 (PHP 8.2). For 1.3.14 the minimum version is 5.0-beta.2; 5.0-beta.2 and 5.0-beta.3 have been tested. On newer versions that have not been tested yet, the front end is not shut down; the administrator sees a compatibility warning. This warning does not mean that every feature of the new version has been tested.

The theme is not standalone software; it requires a valid WISECP installation and software licence.

The Hostimor theme licence grants lifetime use for a single domain. When the support period ends, you can keep using the installed licensed version; downloading new versions and getting support require an active support entitlement.

What can you edit?

AreaHow to edit
Logo, colours, texts and appearance1.3.16 and later: theme editor. 1.3.14: WISECP theme management and the Logo/Branding screen.
Products, menus and postsThe relevant WISECP record screens.
CSS, JavaScript and images1.4.0: do not change the theme files directly; package integrity breaks and visitors see the licence page. Change the look in the theme editor. 1.3.x: you can edit them, provided you back up your own changes separately.
PHP and TPL view filesDo not change them directly; for development in these areas, talk to Hostimor support.

An update may overwrite custom design changes you made in the files. Keep track of your changes separately and back them up before every update.

Removing the licence protection, unlicensed use, and distributing the theme as open source or reselling it are not permitted.

Domain and version changes

You change the licence domain from the theme service in your hostimor.com client area: the first change per licence is free, later changes are 250 TL each. On 1.4.0, press Re-check on the licence card after the change. Subdomains count as separate installations. Before a WISECP update, take a backup of your files and database and read the theme release notes.

1.3.14 does not shut down the front end on newer WISECP versions that meet the minimum requirement; for an untested version it shows an administrator warning. Older theme versions may behave differently.

Current release status

Hostimor | WISECP Theme 1.4.0 was approved and published on the WISECP Marketplace on 24 October 2026. The previous approved version is 1.3.17 (20 October 2026). 1.4.0 was published as a new Marketplace product; the previous Marketplace product with the 1.3.x versions has been withdrawn. Sales and payment are handled by Hostimor; approved packages are distributed through the WISECP Marketplace. You can read the licence and download terms in the section below.

Licence card and verification (1.4.0)

1.4.0 · published on the WISECP Marketplace

The licence model below comes with 1.4.0. 1.3.x installations keep working with the previous method until they move to 1.4.0.

In 1.4.0 the licence is verified with the Hostimor Licence Centre, which all Hostimor products use. Verification is done for the domain of your WISECP licence; the licence server’s response is signed and bound to the domain and to each request. You do not enter an update key or an installation key.

Licence card: the Tema ayarları → Lisans, destek ve yedek (Theme settings → Licence, support and backup) section shows the licence status, licensed domain, licence type, end of support and updates, time of the last check, theme and WISECP versions, and package integrity. Re-check checks the licence and the package files again straight away. In the theme list, the theme’s card shows a licence badge.

Pages do not wait: visitor pages use the stored verification; it is renewed once a day, after the page has been sent to the visitor. If the licence server cannot be reached, the last valid verification is used for 7 more days. On a new installation, the first verification runs once, when the first page is opened.

When do visitors see a licence page? When the licence server returns a signed refusal for the domain, when the theme files do not match the signed package list (PACKAGE.json), or when the WISECP version is below the minimum version (5.0-beta.3). In that case the admin area and the theme settings stay accessible; the page is shown in Turkish or English depending on the visitor’s language.

Marketplace download entitlement

Get the approved installation package, re-downloads of the same version and later updates from the WISECP Marketplace. Every download checks for an active domain licence and an active support/update entitlement.

When the support period ends, your lifetime right to use the installed version continues; renewing reopens support and download access.

Temporary connection problems

In 1.3.14, temporary connection problems or invalid server responses do not immediately delete the last valid licence verification. If a valid licence is stored, a limited offline tolerance applies. The first activation requires a successful online verification.

A verified refusal from the authorised licence server, an invalid licence status or the end of the tolerance period can affect usage. If the error persists, check the server connection and open a support ticket.

1.4.0: if the licence server cannot be reached, the last valid verification is used for 7 more days; on a new installation, the first verification runs once, when the first page is opened. Details →
